Ill make this short. -I usually have to keep my video on low quality to avoid massive lag -Allegedly there is sound support but either its very quiet or I am not using the right settings to make it work (does speaker mean I can keep it away from my mouth or what?) -The video does work, and my app has not crashed either on my Windows XP 32-Bit desktop client, nor my iPhone 4 (iOS 6+) Overall, the app works well enough. I wish it had microphone support, or better support, so that I could talk instead of type on skype, but Im happy with it. This old clunker laptop didnt come with a cam built in, so I may buy a clip-on when Im out at Best Buy tomorrow for convenience sake, unless its more than 12 dollars or something.

Apple should take this app off the store until the description is accurate. Shape Gmbh own support admits that in OS X doesnt work as a USB camera and does not support Skype, Flash, Facetime or any other Mac OS X application that uses a standard video source. Im asking a refund right now.

This application has done me great justice for years. These other folk just dont know what the French toast they are doing. I voted it awesome because it does what its supposed to do just fine.

I was hesitant to buy this with all the negative feedback, but my experience with this app is great. Nice quality. Barely any lag. No cord needed. Obviously an expensive webcam would be much better, but for the price, this is a awesome buy.

It cannot work with Skype on Mac?

Since the reviews are all over the place I thought I should put in my experience. In short, perfect. I am using it on an iPhone 4 to stream video and audio over a wifi network to my Windows desktop computer that is on the same network. There is very little delay and the video quality is amazing. This program does provide real time video and it works. I see this is not everyones experience, but it has worked flawlessly for me, so I thought I should let people know.

Super super great deal if youre looking for a quick way to get a web cam .. I have an iPhone 4. Dont have a webcam anymore so looked around at a few to read reviews and decided to purchase this one. Get the app and the computer install they tell you, and it works! Yes it has audio, but you only hear it after you record a segment and then go to play it back. So not while youre recording.. At least if youre just trying it out like I was for the first time right now.. Not sure about messengers like Skype (dont use those type of thing). Simple and no bs, worth it for what it does!

Very pixelated images. I have an Iphone 5c, which has an HD camera. It certainly doesnt look HD with this app. A big waste of money.

Not sure about the people having problems but this works great for me.

Didnt stay connected to wifi, not worth $4.99.

This was once a great app, but it stopped working on my computer. It would come up in the program, just not anywhere else.

Although the Mobiola application can display images and video, no other application on my Mac Mini recognizes the device.

The webcam is bad, slow. dont waste your money. Im really disappointed -.-

This app and the partner app on my windows desktop did not work but twice, and there have been network errors since, and the desktop app crashes consistently. Waste of money, dont buy this app.

Okay so the common perception of this app is that its horrible, well i am not involved with the app i swear yet i find the app overall pretty effective, i can do omegle for long periods without it giving me one problem, perhaps the reason its 4 stars instead of 5 is there could be more work done on the video quality and frame rate. Overall good app that does what it says, saves having to buy webcam and software and all that crap.

This app is absolutely terrible. I read some reviews that were very positive thinking that it would work for me. Well, it didnt. It captured maybe 2 frames before it just froze. I had frequent disconnects. This app is not worth $4.99. I cant believe I wasted my money for it...

Saw video ok computer, but not able to select cam in Skype. Not worth it. Get regular camera. Good idea if it worked.

This app works like it should. I can connect my iPhone 5 to my desktop, and use it in many applications, such as OBS and Skype. Any problems others may have with low FPS in higher quality, can be explained by saying they dont have a very fast connection to their desktop computer. I myself cannot use 1080p without having a small delay. I hope the developers can make it to where it can connect directly through USB.

There is a resaon that way dont let you try to for free before you buy, beucase it is kinda useless. Very Choppy. sound is okay
